Autonomy, Mastery, & Purpose

Dan Pink, author of, "Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us" presents an interesting case at the RSA. He contends that Bonuses as an incentive fail for the knowledge class, and ultimately lead to the opposite of the intended goal of producing better work. The whiteboard animation adds to this lively presentation that basically says: Pay people enough so they don't have to think about money and let them solve problems by allowing them to follow their passions.
